Structured pathways into applied AI

Each programme is complete in itself. Together, they form a connected body of study — from foundations through to conversational system engineering.

How our programmes are structured

Each kinnarix AI programme follows the same basic shape: recorded sessions pair with curated readings and a short written reflection. For the two longer programmes, weekly live sessions and office hours supplement the asynchronous material. The approach is deliberate — it is designed around working adults who need to integrate study into an existing schedule without sacrificing depth.

Curriculum is reviewed before each new cohort. Where the field has moved, the reading list and session content move with it. Where the fundamentals are stable, we keep the material grounded in those foundations rather than chasing each new release.

AI Foundations Course

Programme 01

AI Foundations Course

A ten-week part-time course for learners who would like a calm, structured introduction to the ideas behind contemporary applied AI. The course covers what a model is, how training and evaluation work in practice, the language used in current research, and a careful look at the everyday tools learners will continue to meet as they read further. Each week pairs a recorded session with a small reading list and a written reflection prompt.

  • What a model is, and how training works in practice
  • Evaluation methods: what they measure and what they miss
  • Reading current research: vocabulary and navigation
  • A careful survey of tools in everyday applied use

Duration: 10 weeks, part-time

Study load: approx. 4–6 hours per week

Format: Recorded sessions + weekly reading + reflection

4,500 THB

How it works

01

Each week a recorded session (60–80 min) covers the core concept, with specific terminology explained as it appears.

02

A short reading list accompanies each session — usually one paper or documentation chapter, selected for accessibility.

03

A written reflection prompt asks the learner to connect the session content with something in their own work or reading experience. Responses receive written feedback.

04

On completion of all requirements, a letter of completion is issued.

Natural Language Processing Track

Programme 02

Natural Language Processing Track

A fourteen-week part-time track for learners who would like a paced introduction to the practice of working with language data. The track covers tokenisation and text preparation, classical sequence models, modern encoder and decoder architectures, retrieval-augmented patterns, and the practical work of evaluating language systems on real datasets. Each module pairs a live session with a small implementation exercise, supported by weekly small-group office hours.

  • Tokenisation, normalisation, and dataset preparation
  • Classical sequence models: RNNs, attention mechanisms
  • Encoder and decoder architectures in current use
  • Retrieval-augmented generation patterns
  • Evaluation on real datasets: metrics and their limitations

Duration: 14 weeks, part-time

Study load: approx. 6–8 hours per week

Format: Live sessions + implementation exercises + office hours

Prerequisites: Working Python, ML foundations

8,800 THB

How it works

01

Weekly live sessions (90 min) work through the module content with time for questions. Recordings are available after each session.

02

A small implementation exercise follows each session — typically working with a dataset and a specific pattern or architecture covered that week.

03

Weekly small-group office hours (45 min) address questions from the exercises and reading in an open discussion format.

Applied Conversational AI Programme

Programme 03

Applied Conversational AI Programme

A five-month part-time programme for learners who would like to develop the skills required to design, build, and evaluate conversational systems for everyday use. The programme covers dialogue design, retrieval architectures, evaluation patterns, safety considerations, and the practical engineering of a small deployed system. Each cohort completes a portfolio project of their own choosing, supported by weekly review sessions.

  • Dialogue design: intent, flow, and edge-case handling
  • Retrieval architectures for grounded conversation
  • Evaluation frameworks for conversational quality
  • Safety considerations in deployed systems
  • Portfolio project: design, build, and present a small system

Duration: 5 months, part-time

Study load: approx. 8–10 hours per week

Format: Weekly review sessions + portfolio project + cohort support

Prerequisites: Applied ML experience

13,800 THB

How it works

01

Weekly review sessions bring the cohort together to discuss the week's material, share implementation decisions, and raise questions.

02

Each learner works on a portfolio project of their choosing — a conversational system relevant to their domain or interests — from week two onward.

03

At the end of the programme, each learner presents their project to the cohort. The project and the presentation become portfolio artefacts.

Across all programmes

Data privacy

Learner data is handled in accordance with Thai data protection requirements. It is not shared with third parties for any commercial purpose.

Curriculum review

Each programme is reviewed before the start of every new cohort. Reading lists and session materials are updated to reflect current practice.

Accessible materials

Recorded sessions include written transcripts. Materials are formatted for readability across device sizes and connection speeds common in Southeast Asia.

Safety in scope

The Conversational AI Programme explicitly covers safety considerations for deployed systems — evaluation of failure modes, mitigation approaches, and responsible design choices.

Direct communication

Enquiries and support questions are answered directly by a kinnarix AI team member, not routed through an automated support system.

Letter of completion

Issued on completion of all programme requirements. Documents programme name, duration, and main topics covered. Not a government-accredited qualification.

Fees

All fees are in Thai Baht (THB) and include full access to materials, recorded sessions, office hours, and instructor feedback where applicable.
